A bit of background: For years, I carried an old Nokia phone. I loved my little dinosaur with the switchable faceplates. One of my favorite faceplates was blue with fluffy clouds. I also had a red one to match my van.
Earlier this year, I reluctantly upgraded to a state of the art phone. Well, it was state of the art when I bought it, but it became obsolete in 82 hours. The new phone had all sorts of new doodads, but I haven’t bothered to mess with most of them yet. (Okay, I confess I haven’t messed with them because if I’m not talking on it, I’m usually playing the games on the cell.)
Tonight, I was sitting in a parking lot while my son went into a store. I started messing around with my cell, and found that I could email the pics on the phone! WOW! I had played with the camera feature before, but I never bothered to really investigate it. I received a very nice digital camera for my birthday, so the camera phone kind of became redundant.
I got home, checked my email, and there was the picture I had taken! WOOOOO!!!
Okay, I know that’s not like discovering some nanotechnology breakthrough, but I thought it was cool. Tomorrow, I may just try to figure out how to work the voice-activated dialing.
