I’ve been reading up on South Boston, and finding out all sorts of facts and trivia that I didn’t know before. For example, during the Revolutionary War, while in the South Boston area, George Washington used cannons to force the evacuation of the British soldiers, causing them to retreat to Novia Scotia.
I think it would be interesting to live in an area that is so rich with history and if I lived there, I’d probably love finding out everything of historic significance that happened in the region. However, the local residents may have heard that there has been a major recent increase in property values for their area. If they’re considering buying or selling south boston real estate they may want to contact Seaport Realty Group. They can provide provide services throughout the region including Dorchester, the Seaport District, Back Bay, Waterfront, South Boston, South End, as well as Quincy and Milton.
Seaport Realty Group is committed to providing service to all while maintaining professionalism, integrity and honesty. So if you’re a “Southie”, you can rely on the staff of Seaport Realty Group to make your real estate transactions as easy as possible, giving you the ability to focus on more important things, like whether or not you’re going to spend your weekend taking a casual stroll around Castle Island, or if you’d rather visit the future home of the Institute for Contemporary Art.
The BBD has never been a picky eater. My son has taught her to eat Dum-Dum pops, one lick at a time. When she was younger, she had to learn that the litter box is not her own personal all day buffet.
We usually bought her a variation of some Kibbles N Bits or dog food made by Del Monte. No particular reason why, that’s just what she seemed to enjoy the most. However, because she’s a big girl, she had the tendency to inhale in like my son inhales a bowl of Rice Krispies.
Then MLL found Royal Canin brand dog food for her two little guys and she told me what a great product it is. I checked out their site and I agree. MLL really liked that Royal Canin offered breed specific mixtures for some popular breeds, and that the formula for big dogs is different than the formulation for toy breeds.
So we’re trying to get the BBD to switch brands. This is a dog that thinks stale peanut butter is gourmet food, but she’s resisting the switch for some reason. She’s not starving, but she’s not wolfing down her food like she used to. I wonder if its because she doesn’t want to bother chewing her food?
I’m still going to keep her on the Royal Canin because it’s not one of the companies that were part of that dog food recall. I’ll have more to say about the recall in a later post when I’m not so angry about the whole situation. In the meantime, I think my dog might enjoy a bit of yogurt as an after dinner snack.
Okay, I shouldn’t be laughing so hard at this. It’s a serious subject and it’s wrong for the artist to make light of it.
I’m going to be able to gather my composure and stop guffawing.
Really, there’s no reason whatsoever for me to be reacting like this and I’m going to stop. RIGHT NOW.
As soon as I take one more peek.
For some reason, I woke up this morning and thought that Easter is tomorrow. I don’t know how I got so confused, I’m usually pretty good at keeping track of dates and events. I’m glad my son was hanging around so he could clarify the date for me. Otherwise, we may have ended up having a sumptuous meal to celebrate April Fools day.
Well, they are actually living without a kitchen sink this weekend. I don’t know how in the world anyone can put up with that, but I guess you do what you’ve got to do. I know that a year from now, she’ll be glad that they decided to go ahead with this home improvement project but I don’t think she’s very happy right now. Actually, knowing her, she’ll quickly realize that putting up with minor inconveniences right now will definitely benefit her in the long term. For example, her home was nice before, but I’m glad they decided to go ahead with the kitchen remodeling. She found the stove she’s always wanted, she’s replacing the sink and now she’s going to be able to have the kitchen of her dreams. I think it was very smart of them to decide to add another large room for a home office because the extra bedroom they’re using now is getting too small for their business needs. Also, that bedroom always seemed to be a bit dark, so now her office is going to have the lighting she wants and needs. She’s in an upscale neighborhood so she’s got a good home value, but I think that she’ll be happy that the remodeling will add substantially to its worth.
Yeah, there’s lots of reasons for her to be happy in the future, but this weekend, I think she’s just a bit put off because for the next two days, her only source of running water is in one of her bathrooms.
If you thought you knew origami, you better think again. This site has some amazing examples of what can be done with paper. I think my personal favorite is the turtle, but I like the dragon too. Come to think of it, I’m so impressed by all of them that I think they all look great.
MP found another terrific site to distract me and eat up more of my time. I could probably spend a long time at this site because the pictures are absolutely gorgeous. I closed the window because I’ve decided to try to cut down on my goofing off and be a bit more productive.
Oh wait! I just remembered that I didn’t get a good look at the pictures of the lambs…..
