Rampant Local Stupidity

I heard this story on the news, but didn’t know it was a local story until I read it at AzCentral.com. It seems this guy was trying cook methamphetamine in a toaster oven, but the toaster oven caught fire. He tried to put out the fire by tossing water and window cleaner on it. When that didn’t work, he headed to nearby Walmart to buy a fire extinguisher.
Let’s ponder that for a moment: He went to Walmart to buy a fire extinguisher WHILE the fire was still burning.
Thankfully, the sprinklers in the condo went off, and that alerted the Chandler Fire Department, who were there when the guy came back home from Walmart. The idiot was arrested on suspicion of drug manufacturing, drug possession and criminal damage.
