This is such a creative idea. I’m not a big fan of these kinds of sandwiches, but if you need a handy container for your lunch, you can put your bagel in here:

According to his wife, Mr. Hart died while at his drawing board. I really enjoyed his work and will miss his contributions to the funny pages.

I know that some people objected to the religious tone in some of his strips…well, my reply to them is, if you don’t like it, then don’t read it.

Easter’s almost over in my time zone, and I am saddened by the thought that I won’t be able to enjoy a new “B.C.” at this time next year. I guess this was his last Easter comic strip. I tried copying and pasting it here, but it made it too difficult to read, so I put it up at Photobucket.

Sometimes, bloggers swap links and make agreements to post about each other. I’m not knocking that practice, just explaining that I am not doing that here.

I stumbled across Aylee’s blog earlier, and I really like her writing style. I also think she has some terrific unique content. I visit a lot of blogs and sometimes the posts all seem to be repetitions of the same thing. But Aylee looks like she takes the time to find interesting items, like her post about US State Easter eggs. I had never even heard of this before, but the detail on each egg is gorgeous. Thanks for the story, Aylee!
