Dogs and Cats dying from DRY pet food that hasn’t been recalled

I have been doing more research on the dog food and cat food recall by Menu Foods. There are a lot of pets dying suddenly out there, and I don’t know if know if it’s just a coincidence, or they are still researching this. I read that some dogs died after eating Beneful in January/February, but I don’t know if there’s a connection between those deaths and the current pet deaths. I do know that I found a thread of posts where people said their otherwise healthy cats died suddenly. (Scroll all the way down for the posts.)
I know that these posts aren’t scientific evidence, but I am astonished that the pet owners are all saying the same story and suffering the same tragic results. Right now, I’m in the middle of trying to figure out which pet foods were not manufactured by Menu Foods. So far, it looks like that Pedigree and Whiskas are the only ones that I could find that do not use Menu Foods in any way, shape or form.
I’m really upset right now and I apologize for the sloppy way this may be written. MP was just feeding our cats, and on a whim, I googled to find out what others were saying about their dry food. I was shocked to find out that there are so many claims of dying pets that are related to dry pet food.
Meanwhile, the BBD is having pasta for dinner, until I can be absolutely sure that the dog food I feed her is totally safe.

Our dog is on kidney medicine and we think the food his previous owner gave him is the culprit. He began having problems back in September 2006.
Thanks for the critique on my Waterclock post.

We have lost 13 puppies from two litters of females that were fed dry dog food only!!!!!!!! Out Pomeranan has never eaten the moist and was almost comatose before being diagnosed with KIDNEY disease… I really am tired of the lies we are being fed!
Stop telling me the dry dog food is not affected.
