PS, my son, just called from the local big box store. He found a bottle designed for feeding kittens that cost a buck and change. Makes me wonder how many abandoned kittens there are, if someone’s marketing the supplies to care for them. Then again, maybe it’s a giant conspiracy and these kittens were actually left on my door by the bottle makers! HA!
He just told me that the tiny container of cat milk costs three bucks for eight ounces. That’s FORTY EIGHT BUCKS A GALLON!!!!!
Their mother is probably out there eating a petrified rat leg someplace, and these babies will soon be drinking the most expensive liquid in my home.
Sigh.
