It’s funny, when we as parents send our kids to take a nap, we don’t accept any excuses until they’ve had their forty winks. However, when it comes to an adult taking a nap, we don’t do it if we don’t want to.

I wonder how different the world would be if there was a compulsory nap time every day for all grown ups? Just imagine, you’d be at work and your boss would dim the lights and you’d have to put your head down on your desk for a brief refresher. I wonder, if more people took naps, would there be less road rage out there?

Seriously, I don’t think naps at work would be such a good idea. If everyone was required to snooze during the day, you’d never know when one of your co-workers would show up in footie pajamas.

I don’t know what it is with me and members of my family. Maybe its a genetic weakness shared by the females in the family. Whatever the cause, we all go nuts when it comes to any sort of office supplies. I just noticed that DataBazaar.com has a terrific selection of printer cartridges and toner. It looks like their site offers printer supplies for almost every make of printer on today’s market. Of course, they have HP ink cartridges, they have almost every brand I’ve ever heard of. They also have printer paper, which is very handy. If you think about it, paper is not usually an emergency item, so why take advantage of DataBazaar’s low prices and stock up on what you need? Don’t wait till the last minute, go to their site and find what you’ll need so you’ll always have a ready supply on hand.

Plus, if you stock up, your home will smell like a stationery store and to me, that’s the best fragrance or scent on the market today.

Well, I don’t know how long I’ve been awake, I just know that I need more caffeine. Or, maybe I should just give up and go to sleep? I have never liked sleeping and consider it to be mostly a waste of time. I agree that it’s necessary, but I wish there was a way to avoid it entirely. Maybe I’ll just go close my eyes for a few minutes… but then again, the last time I said something like that I ended up sleeping for twelve hours.

I haven’t seen Price is Right in eons, but I just turned it on. I was really surprised to see that one of the prizes available was an accordion. I didn’t know that anyone played them. Well, I knew about Al Yankovic, but isn’t he the only one in America that still possesses the ability to play a polka?

A lot of people that are interested in fitness may join gyms as a way to help them get in shape. Well, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that, but for me, I’d rather just exercise in the comfort of my own home. If you feel the same way, then you may want to look into Infiniti Treadmills. In my opinion, treadmills can offer you a great work out because they exercise the large muscles in your legs. Many of them also have a variety of inclines enabling you to simulate various walking conditions. There are also treadmills that are available in compact models, making them great choices for small spaces, apartment or condominium dwellers. Some people prefer the cross training they receive on an elliptical trainer and enjoy the features they offer including measurement of speed, time, calories, pulse and resistance level. Whatever your preference, the wide selection and choices available in home gyms make exercise a viable option for everyone.

I just found a site called the Survey Police. They claim that they’ve studied various online survey companies and compiled a list of the best companies. I’m not surprised that Pinecone Research is at the top of the list. However, I am disappointed that I’ll probably never be invited to join their team of researchers. Oh well, I don’t mind too much, I just wish I could survey them and find out why they chose that name.
:-)

Wow, am I the only one that gets a wide variety of emails? I just checked one of my freebie emails. I guess its a slow freebie day because the email is full of studies that will pay you X amount for such and such. If you’re an ex-smoker and want to make 300 dollars, reply to this or email me and I’ll forward the info. I don’t know if it’s legit or not, but I don’t want to post someone’s contact information on my blog without their permission.

Apparently, not only does the ex-smoker have to participate in the study, but both biological parents have to sign up too. I wonder if they’re going to try to induce a massive family-sized nicotine fit?
