The kitty babies and me

Here I sit with the teeny tiny itty bitty kitties. Now, do I wake them up to eat or not? I can’t remember what I used to do when my kids were little, but I could swear that I let them sleep until they decided it was time to eat.

One good thing about kitten babies, they’re a lot easier to clean up than human babies. As a matter of fact, MP takes care of that “department”. I’m just her assistant and I volunteered for feeding duty tonight. She can resolve any digestive issues when she wakes up.

Ugh… I feel a bit seasick

I just took a look at these optical illusions. They’re very interesting, but I don’t think it’s a good idea to look at them this late at night. My head’s still spinning a bit and my eyeballs feel like they’re bouncing around in the sockets. I wish I could make some decent optical illusions, but I guess I’ll just have to settle for being confounded by other peoples creations.

Thinking about my other site

I have been looking at some of the content that MP has put on our commercial site and I wonder if she installed the best ecommerce software? It seems the shopping cart software she found is a bit too confusing to me and I’d rather use a shopping cart that is easier for me to handle. I’m a bit of a geek, but her level of software expertise is much higher than mine.

I definitely need to make sure that my shopping cart is something easy and manageable.

1 in 2 Americans receives income from government programs

Wow, shocking, isn’t it? It seems that if you’re not getting help from the government, then you’re probably paying for someone who is. I don’t begrudge anyone that needs a helping hand, but how many people out there could do something productive instead of leaning on the government for support?

It used to be that getting any sort of charity was shameful because you looked like you were lazy and shiftless. Too bad that ethic isn’t prevalent today. I just wonder what it’s going to be like in twenty years. How many more people will be on the public dole?

Great gift for moms

It’s almost Mother’s Day and let’s face it, flowers just don’t make the grade for geeky moms like me. Oh, don’t get me wrong, I think a nice bouquet is beautiful, but I’d rather have a digital picture frame to display my pictures.

I think it would be so cool to get a digital photo frame as a gift. I’m sitting here trying to figure out how many digital pictures I have, and I don’t even want to begin to count them all. I bought my first digital camera eons ago and I love taking pictures. The problem is, once you take pictures, you have limited options. You can print them out and show them like that. Or, you can have everyone sit around your computer monitor while you display your photos.

Oh yeah, and if you’ve already gotten a present for your mom, don’t forget about Father’s Day in June. And digital frames would be perfect for graduation gifts too! What better way for someone to remember their school years than to keep their favorite school pictures on constant display.

Ooooh, here’s another gift idea: If you know someone that will be celebrating a milestone anniversary, then wouldn’t it be great to store their wedding photos on a digital photo frame? It would make a unique gift that would be treasured for years to come.

Come to think of it, there are so many possibilities for digital photo frames, the only limit is your imagination.

Just a small confession to make

I have another blog and it’s geared towards health and fitness. Well, actually I have more than one other blog, but that’s not what I’m confessing right now, lol.

Here’s my confession:

I haven’t done a tenth of what I wanted to on that site because I haven’t had enough time. Then, when I have the time to do it, I don’t feel like working on it. I have so many plans, but right now, that’s all they are. Plans.

I guess its because of the subject. Health and fitness is pretty important so I always feel rather somber when I’m working on it. Maybe I need to buy a clown’s rubber nose and wear that while I’m working on it, it might help me to stay chipper and cheerful.

I haven’t even submitted it for the Linky project. Then again, I kind of wanted to see how it would do compared to this blog. It turned out that the Linky project is fantastic and exceeded all my expectations. Come to think of it, now that I know how well it works, maybe I should submit SANE to the Linky project. That could be my first step at accomplishing the plans I have with the site.
