Solar Cooking

Awhile ago, I found directions for making your own solar cooker that basically works as an outdoor slow cooker. It looks easy to make, I just haven’t gotten around to it.

I found a company that sells something they call a solar barbecue. I’m not too concerned about the “carbon footprint” that one site says I create when I cook. I just figure that since there’s so much sun in AZ, this could be a great way to cook without having to buy fuel for my barbeque grill.

The problem is, I keep finding sites that review the item but I can’t find the original site that sells the item. From what I could tell, it sells for between 100-200 dollars. Which would be more economical than having to replace stuff when MP starts one of her BBQ fires.
