I admire anyone that can turn a good phrase. I admire them even more if they’re a blogger because I’ve found that some bloggers tend to be a bit casual with their posts, almost to the point of sloppiness.
But not this blogger. She has a great command of English, and uses it to draw in and engage her readers. If you want to find out why she’s talking about twirling, take a few minutes to read her blog. I don’t think you’ll regret it and you’ll probably become a return visitor. I know I am.

I stumbled upon a site that does translations. It does a pretty fair job, all things considered. However, some of the phrases don’t quite make the transition very smoothly. For example, I typed in “Do you want pizza with pineapple or would you rather have mashed potatoes” and got “Usted desea la pizza con la piña o usted habría triturado algo las patatas”.
I then put that spanish sentence back into the translator and got this English result:
“You wish pizza with the fragmentation hand grenade or you would have crushed something the potatoes”.

I was blog-hopping and I found this great post by a fellow mommy that hides her snacks so the kids won’t find them. She also gave a great review of the product, which is actually the theme of her blog. As a matter of fact, after reading her review, I may purchase the same snack items for myself.
That is, just as soon as I can figure out a good hiding place…

As a desert rat, I have to admit that I’m kind of used to my land locked existence here in Arizona. However, I do wonder sometimes what life is like in other parts of the country because I believe that we are all more alike than we may think. For example, some Baltimore Real Estate reminds me of apartment living that’s also available here in the metro Phoenix area. The Briarcliff Apartments offer amenities and features such as an Olympic sized swimming pool, a state of the art on site fitness facility, and even a basketball court too.
I supposed my preconceived notions were wrong because I had assumed that there wouldn’t be a lot of outdoor activities with the climate they have. But I’ve discovered that life and leisure at Briarcliff is comparable to other apartment communities around the country. I guess we are all more alike than I thought.
