Well, it seems that I have good days, and some that are not so good. Sometimes, I get a good eight hours sleep, and sometimes, I wake up in the middle of the night in agony. I’m sure its boring to read about, and frankly, it’s boring to me to sit at the computer for hours, reading all sorts of articles on line, trying to find some information that can help ease my condition.
Oh well, I guess here’s the new rule for my blog: When I’m here, I’m here, and if I’m not blogging, then I’ll get back to it as soon as I can. In the meantime, thanks to everyone for sticking with me and I’ll try to blog as much as possible.
I found a great site that has tons of old, old songs available for listening. For example, it has a recording made by Thomas Edison, called “The Lost Chord”. It also has recordings from jazz and blues legends, as well as historic names like Gene Autry and Blind Willie Johnson.
Do you like spy-type shows? If so, then you’re going to have to check out USA Network’s Burn Notice. What do you do if, like the main character, you’re in the CIA and get fired? Well, you can go into detective work yourself. But since you can’t use the nifty high-tech gadgets from the CIA, you’re going to have to make them yourself.
But what sort of spy gadgets can you create out of ordinary objects? Check out the Burn Notice website to find out what the main character uses or just watch my video to see my suggestion.
Actually, both of my kids are hilarious to me, and we laugh a lot at each other’s jokes. Tonight, MP and I were watching Donna Dewberry and her two-stroke painting show. We both noticed that Donna seemed to be particularly in a rush, and not too concerned about detail.
Donna was painting one of her famous hummingbirds. My daughter noticed that she made a mistake with the eyes, and inadvertently put them both on the same side of the head. MP said that Dewberry had invented a new creature, a flounder hummingbird.
If you remember, my daughter found a tiny mouse-sized kitten in April. We’ve been feeding her kitten milk non-stop, and I’m happy to report that she’s doing pretty good.
While we were waiting for her eyes to open, we noticed that she only opened one of them. As it turns out, she only has one eye, but she can see very well with it.
We were calling her ‘Dash’ for awhile, because we couldn’t tell if she was a ‘dash’ or a ‘dot’. Well, she’s a ‘dot’, so we gave her a real name.
Karen.
Karen the kitten sounds great, doesn’t it?
I’ll post pics of her soon, despite her eye, she is adorable.
She’s also semi-fearless and likes to use the BBD as a trampoline.
It’s about time to blow the dust off the old blogeroo and get back to posting again. I’m hoping to start out a bit slow and be back up to total speed by Wednesday.I would say “back to normal” but then again, I’ve never been known for normalcy, lol.
Seriously, thanks to everyone for their kind words and wishes and see you all around the blogosphere.
