Don’t throw your PC out quite yet

I turned on my PC and the monitor screen filled with scrolling text. The words were moving so fast that I couldn’t read them and they kept going and going. I didn’t know what to do, so I shut it off and hopped on my son’s computer.
When my son comes home, I tell him that I think the pc is fried hotter than a Tucson sidewalk. He took a look at it and said,”Did you have your iPod plugged in at the time?”, and sure enough, the iPod was still plugged in.
He suggested that I not turn on the computer again unless the iPod’s unplugged first. It seems that the PC tries to boot from the iPod and that’s what caused the scrolling text.
Silly computer. Isn’t it smart enough to realize what an iPod does?
