Bad Bank Flashback

I love my current bank, but I haven’t always had a pleasant ‘relationship’ with financial institutions. As a matter of fact, my former bank seemed to cause me nothing but problems. For example, one time I made a deposit in person at one of their local branches and went merrily on my way. Knowing there was money in my bank, I went shopping with my debit card in hand. Even though I had put enough money in the bank, they said my account was overdrawn and wanted to charge me for this. Turned out that the teller I dealt with made an error, but it was still a big pain in the neck and getting a bank charges refund was an uphill battle that I finally won.

My family and I now have our current accounts at another bank, and we’re all very pleased with the service. It makes it a lot easier for my kids and I to do our banking at the same place, and this bank is a lot more careful, especially when it comes to charging fees that are not our fault. Now that I’ve made the switch to a better bank, none of us have to worry about bank charges that we didn’t incur.
