Well, I feel the old creepy ickies coming back. I can’t believe I’m getting sick again! This is like the 18,527th time this summer. I’ve decided that I’m going to try some alternative therapy and ask my son to make some soup. He came up with an original recipe and it’s never the same twice, but it’s loosely based on this:

  1. Lipton’s dried onion soup base (the kind you use for onion dip)
  2. 2 cans of chicken broth
  3. onions, as many as will fit, and still have room for the canned broth
  4. tons of garlic cloves, as many as you can fit between the onion pieces
  5. a splash or two of Tabasco or El Pato, as much as you can stand

Put it all in the pot, put the lid on, and cook till the onions and garlic are tender

I don’t know which will fare worse, me or the germs. If I’m not back in a few days, you can assume that I’ve taken my stomach to soak in a vat of Pepto-Bismol.

I stumbled across this because it was on one of my freebies newsletter. The company is giving away a free design kit with all sorts of helpful goodies like color chips and design ideas. I kind of think that this model would look cool in a casual area, and looks rather unique. What do you think?

I logged in to check my stats, it shows 1039 hits + 678 hits on my rss feed. Now, I’m not sure exactly what an rss feed is. Well, I know what it is, I just don’t know how everyone accesses everyone elses so easily. I know I should find out all about it, and I will one day, I just have other fish to fry right now.

So I ask my daughter about this amazing upsurge in hits to my blog. She reminds me that yesterday she did a back up of all our blogs using a great freebie she found at BlogBackupOnline.

Ummm…. okay.. yeah, come to think of it, she told me that already and even explained the hits our sites would get from the back up. I guess I just forgot it when I saw all those numbers.

Darn. I was secretly hoping that all my posts about my lifelong dream of acquiring an Acquanetta doll were beginning to pay off.
