Some legitimate info on telecommuting and working from home

If you’re looking to make a few extra dollars, you may be interested in a report done by ABCNews.com. They checked into several work from home companies and found them to be very reputable. A few of the companies mentioned in the story are:

Alpine Access

Arise

LiveOps

I haven’t checked into all these, but they don’t seem like scams, but instead, they’re probably part of a growing trend. Personally, I noticed in my local paper that the branch of GE in the Phoenix area is also looking for tele-commuters.

I actually watched this program. They really do work but you will have to have or get some customer service training. I think there are more though that I saw.

I work in a traditional call center: 600 care reps in one big room. It sure is tempting to think of telecommuting. I’ll be checking those companies out.

ARGH, you need DSL or cable for all of them, all I have is dial-up and the only high speed out here is via satallite, or wireless. :( Thanks for the info though.
