How much water can you give away?

Still recuperating, still taking it easy. But now matter how I feel, I don’t seem to do very well playing the geographical based game at FreePoverty.com . Your score donates water to those that need it the most. I don’t mind losing too much, because each game helps people around the world in dire need. I’m going to post my embarrassing score, in hopes of encouraging you to give it a try, and if you better than me, post here and claim your bragging rights. Lemme give you a hint: Paris is NOT in Spain, I found that out the hard way.

For the person looking for the baby gift….

Citrus Burst Rose Bouquet - FedExSweet Baby Girl

Here’s a couple of the choices I found, hope you like them. I did some research, and found you could get a nice bouquet of flowers for about forty bucks including the price of delivery from FlowersFast.com . The flowers are very pretty and would probably make the new mommy very happy. However, if you’re looking for a more practical gift, the new parents would probably appreciate a gift card from your local Wal-mart just as much. I don’t know why people like gift cards more than cash, maybe it feels more like a gift or something? I think flowers are a great gift, but then again, with a gift card, you don’t have to worry about changing the water every day.

And if anyone else needs me to help them find a gift, just send a request to dana at azdana.com . I really enjoy window shopping online, especially when I’m its not *my* money I’m spending, lol.

I need a hat full of miracles, or a bucket full of echinacea

stillsick.jpgI had this amazing post all planned out, it involved fireworks, car chases and marionettes, but its just too much of a challenge to my fevered brain. I’m still coughing, I’m wobbly when I walk, my ear’s plugged up and I feel as dry as the Sonora Desert. As a matter of fact, I had my daughter take this picture of me just a few minutes ago, so you could see exactly how sick I look right now. Do you think I should just get offline and go back to bed?

I’m sick, so I’m posting a duck joke

125px-indian_whistling_duck.jpgI’ve got an ear infection, so rather than trying to come up with something witty, I thought I’d rely on a bit of gallinaceous humor:

A duck walks into a drug store, goes up to the clerk and says, “I have a chapped beak, can you help me?”

The clerk says, “Why of course, here’s some Hot Cocoa Flavor Moose Smooch Lip Balm. How would you like to take care of this?”

The duck replies, “Can you just put it on my bill?”

Joke obtained from an old humor book I read eons ago, before the internet was invented, when it was much easier to tell jokes without having to worry about proper attribution.
