There I was in the control panel, working away merrily, trying to decide whether or not the magenta/puce color combination would look good on my site. In another window, I clicked to refresh the home page, and that’s when it happened:

Everything was GONE! All that was left was a BIG WHITE page staring back at me!

Thankfully, my daughter was able to figure out what was wrong and restore everything back to the way it was. Apparently, it didn’t like the fact that I was copying and pasting my quote marks ( like img  src= ” ) and wanted me to  type them in instead.

I learned two things yesterday:

1. ALWAYS back up EVERYTHING! Poor MP had to do some sort of manual restore which would’ve been a lot easier if I had been backing up as I went along.
2. I may not be a genius when it comes to websites, but I think I gave birth to one.  If she hadn’t rescued me, then hours of my hard work would be forever lost. Thanks MP!

Speaking of hard work, I better get on it or it will never get done.
